The farmhouse lies about half a mile from the pretty Domesday farming village of Up-Ottery with its ancient staging post Inn, where you can enjoy modestly priced excellent food.

Guests can enjoy sitting in our five acre garden or fly fishing in our pond.

The farmhouse 1717 was totally restored only nine years ago and money and love have been invested in the property to make it our dream home, and we hope, your most enjoyable break.

Every bedroom in the farmhouse has unspoilt panoramic views of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. TV and tea trays are in each of the farmhouse bedrooms.

Breakfast is regarded as a special meal and guests are pampered and offered a range of fresh produce including a chance to try our own wonderful duck eggs. All special diets will be catered for if notice is given.

Breakfast is usually served in our sunny newly built conservatory which remains available to them for the remainder of the day as does the adjoining original breakfast room, shown below, with its log fire in season.

If any of the self catering cottages are free (probably not in peak season) then bed and breakfast en suite accommodation is offered in these five star rooms. We have a total capacity of 9 bedrooms with either en suite or private facilities.

The Haybarton Cottage and Cow Byre have been given the English Tourist Board 5 star rating for self catering.

However, they have been designed for bed and breakfast when available and guests are frequently offered an update into the cottages during off peak periods.

The Haybarton Annexe and the Cow Byre both have three double en-suite bedrooms, two with double beds and one ground floor bedroom with twin beds. All rooms in the house and cottages are of a good size.

Both cottages have a TV lounge with full SKY programmes.
